about me.
Being and Becoming…
It is an honor to walk alongside you on your journey. You are not alone on the path to a more balanced and connected life. It takes courage to embark upon this path, and you have already taken the first step toward feeling better and ultimately reaching your full potential. I truly believe that the therapeutic relationship is, in itself, transformative and healing. However, there are also many tools that we can use along the way that can deepen your therapeutic experience.
I have practiced clinical social work in the Denver Metro area for the past 19 years and specialize in supporting adults, couples, and adolescents (age 12 and above) who are struggling to navigate life’s challenges. I employ a variety of clinical frameworks in our work together, including Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I am deeply passionate about this work and am continually expanding my skills and knowledge base.
My professional experience and expertise is, of course, an asset. However, I take the most pride in being a fellow human being who can relate with your struggles. We are all on a lifelong path of discovery, and I bring warmth, openness, and a sense of humor to this journey.
Apart from the therapeutic journey, my personal journey involves maximizing connection with my loved ones and enjoying the outdoors. Outside of the therapy room, you’ll find me hiking with my partner, dogs, and two sons in the Colorado mountains or just dancing with them in the living room! I also have a deep love for the landscapes and rich cultures of Northern New Mexico and Maui, Hawaii.
